By Lynn Heatley. On Sunday, we hosted a group of friends at TLH who came together to pray for me and speak words of counsel for the ongoing flow of my life. What a beautiful thing to experience and behold. It never ceases to amaze me what kindness looks like when a group of people, who love well, get together and simply share their hearts.
God’s word says this: “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together” (Hebrews 10:24-25)
God created us with a felt need for Him and for others. We need one another to spur (nudge!) one another on towards deeds that bring love, hope and courage to others around us. How grateful I am for those who nudge me onward and who also help to take off my blinders so I can see a greater perspective (or be reminded of things I have forgotten)!
May the Lord encourage you today through those He has placed around you!
