By Lynn Heatley. This past year, we have looked and prayed about FOUNDATIONS. All types of foundations. In our family histories, in the history of the city and our nation, in our spiritual understanding. And as we have looked around us, we have come to understand that the Lord is doing a new work in this area.
In some areas, he is leveling old foundations in order to do a new work :
“Therefore I will make Samaria a heap of rubble, a place for planting vineyards. I will pour her stones into the valley and lay bare her foundations. – Micah 1:5-7
In other areas he is strengthening present foundations and rebuilding:
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings. – Isaiah 58:11-13
And lastly, he seems to be breaking open foundations in order for the prisoners to be set free.
Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose. – Acts 16:25-27
Join us in praying for God to do His amazing work regarding the foundations that He is desiring in and around us.
In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. – Psalm 102:25

Thanks, Lynn and company, for your prayer commitment on behalf of Riverside. I fully believe in what you are doing (have dreamed about passionate people of God seeking Him through prayer) since I was a child. Praying with you! And looking forward to what is to come! You are a blessing to the church and to those longing to meet Jesus! Thanks, again.
